Role Description The Mechanical Services Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru. This position is responsible for providing mechanical field service support, including installation, commissioning, inspection, and performance checks of mechanical systems and equipment. Daily tasks include diagnosing mechanical issues, performing maintenance and repairs, coordinating with clients and internal teams, and preparing service reports and documentation. The engineer will respond to service requests, provide technical guidance to customers, ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, and support continuous improvement of service processes. The role involves regular interaction with stakeholders, requiring clear communication and a strong customer-service mindset.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Troubleshooting and Technical Support skills to diagnose, analyze, and resolve mechanical issues efficiently.
Candidates should possess Field Service experience, including on-site inspections, installations, and customer interactions.
Candidates should possess Maintenance & Repair skills for mechanical systems, with the ability to perform preventive and corrective maintenance.
Candidates should possess effective Communication skills for clear reporting, client coordination, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Relevant bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Experience working with industrial or building mechanical systems (HVAC, pumps, compressors, or similar) is beneficial.
Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, manuals, and technical documentation.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and adherence to safety standards and company procedures.
Willingness to travel locally or regionally for field assignments as required.
