Sourcing Intern

About the Role
We’re looking for a Sourcing Intern who will be involved in supplier research, market mapping, data analysis and supporting the team in identifying potential vendors for product components and materials.
Key Responsibilities
Research and identify potential suppliers for components and materials across Consumer Electronics.
Map and evaluate suppliers for requirements such as aluminium power bank housings, plastic components for TWS and other NPI requirements.
Build and maintain supplier databases, trackers and sourcing reports.
Analyse supplier and sourcing data using Excel and data visualisation tools.
Support supplier benchmarking and comparison based on relevant parameters such as pricing, capabilities, capacity and lead times.
Assist in preparing dashboards and reports using Excel, Power BI and Tableau.
Coordinate with internal teams to understand sourcing requirements and track supplier progress.
Support vendor communication and coordination as required.
What We’re Looking For
Currently pursuing college or recently graduated as a fresher
Available for a 6-month, on-site internship in Gurugram
Pursuing/completed a degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, Procurement or a related field
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Good command of MS Excel - Pivot Tables, Lookups, data analysis and dashboards
Exposure to Power BI and/or Tableau
Strong research skills and ability to identify and evaluate potential suppliers
Good communication and stakeholder management skills
Interest in Consumer Electronics, sourcing and new product development
Ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
