Head of Human Resources

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Head of Human Resources based in United States.
The Head of Human Resources will own the people function end to end for a growing remote-first organization.
This hands-on leadership role covers talent acquisition, people operations, compliance, performance, compensation, and culture.
You will take full ownership of the HR infrastructure, including the HRIS, employment processes, policies, and employee lifecycle.
Working closely with the leadership team, you will shape compensation frameworks, strengthen performance systems, and support organizational growth.
The role combines strategic people leadership with practical execution, from writing offer letters to managing sensitive employee situations.
You will help create a connected and accountable remote culture while ensuring compliance with Quebec employment requirements.
Success will be measured through employee engagement, retention, role clarity, and the effectiveness of the overall people system.
