Serves as the functional lead, possess deep knowledge of core systems and takes full responsibility for the team's code, design, and project delivery, ensuring high quality and on-time completion Tackles complex technical challenges independently for complex systems, demonstrating technical depth and proficiency in multiple programming languages Identify and address performance bottlenecks, scalability issues, and areas for optimization Contribute to architectural discussions, propose innovative solutions, and evaluate trade-offs to make informed technical decisions Collaborate with product managers to decompose large projects into manageable tasks and prioritize work effectively Build the next-generation user experience and the platforms required to enable intuitive content discovery for our customers Work with the engineering team to optimize applications for performance and scalability across various platforms, Mobile, Web, and Living Room devices Provide mentorship and guidance to other developers
Skills & Attributes for success:
Strong coding and designing skills (Java or Golang) Experience in building high-scale distributed domain-driven microservices Proficiency with databases like MySQL, NoSql (Cassandra, Redis, DynamoDB)
Embrace new technologies and work with various tools and technologies to achieve the desired functionality Experience with AWS stacks like SQS, Dynamo DB, EKS, Aurora, etc. will be an added advantage Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to debug complex issues in production environments Communicate effectively with stakeholders and collaborate well within a team environment to achieve desired results
Preferred Education & Experience:
B-Tech or M-Tech in Computer Science or a related technical discipline from a reputed university. 9-12 years of progressive experience in software development, with a proven track record of delivering complex projects on time.
