The Role
We are looking for an articulate, socially skilled and intellectually sharp Copywriter who excels at writing copy that converts, brainstorm cool ideas that go viral and understanding social media algorithms well enough to create content and copy that gets attention and delivers results.
You’ll be one of the creative and persuasive brains behind our clients’ work across social media, performance marketing, brand campaigns, websites and digital content for brands across fashion, lifestyle, beauty, food and more.
You are expected to have an opinion, present ideas, defend your thinking, collaborate with the team, take feedback and go back to the desk to make the work better.
What you’ll do
Write creative and persuasive copy for social media, Meta/Google ads, websites and campaigns.
Develop campaign ideas, hooks, headlines, scripts and brand narratives.
Work closely with designers, marketing strategists and account teams to turn briefs into strong creative work.
Present ideas and communicate confidently with clients.
Adapt copy across platforms, audiences and formats.
Use basic performance metrics to understand what is working and improve your copy.
What we’re looking for
A very sharp command of English grammar with a strong sense of language, tone, humour and persuasion.
An extroverted and confident communicator. You should enjoy conversations, brainstorming and writing hooks and copies that influencer buying decsions. This is non-negotiable.
Someone who understands internet culture, social media, memes, trends and pop culture.
Strong creative thinking with the ability to come up with ideas, not just execute briefs.
A strong understanding of advertising and persuasive copywriting.
Comfortable with basic math and marketing metrics such as CTR, CPC, CPM, conversion rate and ROAS.
The ability to take feedback, defend your ideas when needed and make the work better.
Agency or brand experience is preferred.
A strong portfolio is a big plus.
