About Position:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Active Directory & Windows Administrator to manage and support enterprise Windows Server and Active Directory environments. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in Active Directory administration, Windows Server management, virtualization technologies, infrastructure security, patch management, and Nutanix platforms. This role requires a proactive professional who can ensure high availability, performance, security, and operational excellence across critical infrastructure environments.

What You'll Do:
Manage Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS), domain controllers, forests, trusts, and identity services across the enterprise environment.
Administer user accounts, security groups, organizational units (OUs), and role-based access controls.
Design, implement, and maintain Group Policy Objects (GPOs) to enforce security and operational standards.
Manage identity and access management processes, including authentication, authorization, and directory services.
Install, configure, administer, and maintain Windows Server environments including Windows Server 2012, 2016, 2019, and 2022.
Administer core infrastructure services such as DNS, DHCP, File Servers, Print Services, and related server roles.
Monitor server performance and perform proactive optimization to ensure system stability and efficiency.
Handle server provisioning, upgrades, migrations, decommissioning, and lifecycle management activities.
Administer and support Nutanix clusters across production and non-production environments.
Manage Nutanix Prism Central and Prism Element for infrastructure monitoring and administration.
Monitor cluster health, capacity, resource utilization, and overall infrastructure performance.
Configure and manage storage containers, protection domains, virtual machines, and disaster recovery components.
Perform cluster upgrades, expansions, patching, and lifecycle management activities.
Manage virtualization environments using VMware and Nutanix AHV platforms.
Create, configure, maintain, and optimize virtual machines and virtualization resources.
Perform VM migrations, snapshots, cloning, template management, and resource allocation activities.
Plan and deploy operating system patching using WSUS, SCCM, or equivalent enterprise patch management tools.
Ensure patch compliance across Windows infrastructure and mitigate security vulnerabilities.
Execute vulnerability remediation activities and implement server hardening best practices.
Maintain antivirus, firewall, endpoint security, and compliance standards.
Conduct patch validation, rollback planning, and post-deployment verification.
Provide L2 and L3 support for Windows Server, Active Directory, virtualization, and infrastructure-related issues.
Participate in Incident, Problem, Change, and Service Request Management processes.
Prepare and maintain operational documentation, SOPs, technical runbooks, and audit records.
Support internal and external audits while ensuring compliance with organizational policies and standards.
Configure and manage storage containers, protection domains, and virtual machines.
Expertise You'll Bring:
Strong experience in Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS) administration and architecture.
Extensive hands-on experience with Windows Server administration across multiple versions.
Expertise in Group Policy Management, access control, and identity management.
Strong knowledge of DNS, DHCP, LDAP, and related Microsoft infrastructure services.
Experience with enterprise patch management solutions such as WSUS and SCCM.
Hands-on experience in Nutanix infrastructure administration, cluster management, and Prism environments.
Strong understanding of VMware virtualization technologies and Nutanix AHV platforms.
Experience managing virtual machine lifecycle, migrations, snapshots, and performance optimization.
Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation, administration, and reporting.
Knowledge of server hardening, vulnerability management, and cybersecurity best practices.
Experience supporting high-availability and mission-critical infrastructure environments.
Understanding of backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity principles.
Familiarity with Azure Active Directory and hybrid identity solutions.
Experience with infrastructure monitoring, capacity planning, and performance tuning.
Strong troubleshooting capabilities across Windows, Active Directory, virtualization, and network-related services.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced enterprise environment and manage multiple priorities.
