Role Description The Senior Site Engineer will lead on-site execution of tensile structure projects at client locations, with a primary base in Indore. This is a full-time, on-site role responsible for supervising civil and structural works, coordinating with project managers, design teams, and contractors to ensure timely and accurate implementation of drawings and specifications. Daily tasks include monitoring construction activities, managing site teams, overseeing installation and fabrication quality, conducting inspections, and ensuring compliance with safety standards and quality control procedures. The Senior Site Engineer will also handle site documentation, progress reporting, material planning, and resolution of technical issues during installation. Collaboration with clients and stakeholders to address site constraints, provide technical guidance, and support smooth project handover is an essential part of the role.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong on-site project management skills, including experience supervising construction and installation activities at live project locations.
Candidates should possess clear and effective communication skills for coordinating with internal teams, contractors, and clients and for preparing reports and documentation.
Candidates should possess proven quality control skills, including the ability to implement standards, conduct inspections, and ensure adherence to safety and performance requirements.
Candidates should possess solid structural engineering knowledge, with the ability to interpret structural drawings, understand load paths, and support tensile structure design implementation.
Candidates should possess a background as civil engineers or in civil engineering, with hands-on experience in construction, fabrication, or infrastructure projects.
Additional beneficial qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, experience with tensile or lightweight structures, familiarity with relevant codes and standards, basic proficiency in AutoCAD or similar design tools, and a strong focus on safety and problem-solving.
