Software Engineer - Typescript(Node)
You will own and evolve the platform our operations teams use every day to monitor alert match rates, dispute spikes, merchant health, recovery submissions, and finance. This is a full-stack Node role with a strong backend and data lean. You will write a lot of SQL, ship background jobs that detect anomalies and notify people, and keep a production system reliable.
You will work directly with the founders and operations teams, ship to production on every merge, and see the impact of your work the same day.
What you'll do
Build and maintain REST APIs in Node.js and Express.
Design and ship background jobs: scheduled aggregations, anomaly detectors, async exports, and notifications.
Write and tune PostgreSQL queries over large analytical tables.Build Angular features: pages, charts, and operational tooling.
Integrate with third-party APIs such as Stripe, Slack, and payment processors.
Add observability and CI checks so regressions surface before they reach production.

What we're looking for
3+ years building production backend services in Node.js.Solid TypeScript.Strong SQL.
Comfortable with joins over large tables, indexes, aggregations, and reading a query plan.
Experience with background jobs, queues, or schedulers, and their failure modes: retries, idempotency, silent failures.
Frontend experience in a modern SPA framework. Angular is a plus; React or Vue transfers.
Comfort operating in production: reading logs, debugging live issues, shipping fixes carefully.
Clear written communication.
Nice to have
AWS (preferred): ECS, RDS, or similar container and managed database ex
perience.
Python.
LLM applications: prompt design, RAG, or tool use.
