About the Opportunity:
The BI DEVELOPER role involves designing, building, and supporting enterprise-level business intelligence and analytics solutions. This position enables business users to make informed decisions by aggregating and analyzing data from multiple sources. The role collaborates closely with stakeholders and data teams to deliver reports, dashboards, and predictive analytics, directly supporting the organization's mission to improve member health outcomes.
Responsibilities:
Analyze data sources, business processes, and data integrity.
Develop BI solutions using tools such as Tableau, SQL, SSIS, and SSRS.
Design and implement best-practice reports and dashboards.
Collaborate with users to solve data-related problems and gather requirements.
Maintain documentation including reporting requirements and data maps.
Manage multiple projects, ensuring timely and detailed delivery.
Support data governance initiatives and adhere to organizational policies and compliance standards.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree with demonstrated BI experience; healthcare industry experience preferred.
Strong skills in SQL, SSRS, SSIS; familiarity with SSAS is a plus.
Proficiency in analytic tools such as SQL, SAS, R, or Python.
Experience with Tableau and other data visualization tools.
Knowledge of database management systems and data modeling.
Experience in data warehousing, particularly in healthcare.
Ability to build scalable BI applications.
Experience working with end-users to translate business needs into technical solutions.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
Experience with requirements gathering and agile methodologies.
Analytical mindset and problem-solving skills.
Willingness to work outside normal business hours occasionally.
Ability to pass comprehensive background checks required for federal contracting.
Pay Range and Compensation Package:
Annual compensation between $95,000 and $105,000, plus an annual performance-based discretionary incentive.
