Role Description The Business Development Manager is a full-time remote role responsible for expanding Vorlen Recruitment’s client base and strengthening existing relationships. On a day-to-day basis, this role identifies and qualifies new business opportunities, conducts outbound outreach, and leads consultative conversations with prospective clients to understand their hiring needs. The Business Development Manager prepares proposals, negotiates commercial terms, and collaborates with recruitment consultants to ensure service offerings are aligned with client requirements. The role involves maintaining a structured sales pipeline, tracking performance metrics, and providing regular revenue and activity reports. This position also contributes to market research, participates in virtual networking activities, and supports the development of business development strategies and campaigns.
Qualifications
Strong business development and sales skills, including lead generation, pipeline management, and closing new business.
Client relationship management capabilities, with experience in consultative selling and account growth.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at multiple levels.
Solid organizational and time management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a remote setting.
Comfort with CRM tools, sales reporting, and basic data analysis to inform business decisions.
Prior experience in recruitment, staffing, HR services, or professional services business development is an advantage.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Human Resources, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Self-motivated, proactive approach to work, with a focus on ethical practices and inclusive collaboration.
