Job Summary
Manage all aspects of projects and programs, from start to finish, so they are completed on time under budget and within scope.? This would include owning the program management for all workstreams in a new operational facility setup, helping to define workstreams, identify timelines, sequencing work, capturing dependencies, managing issue resolution and trading off priorities as needed to execute the program successfully. This role would also include leading smaller operational projects as needed.
Essential functions/ responsibilities:
Responsible for leading, organizing, and managing project teams that deliver exceptional business value
Define project scope, budget, and timeline while focusing on regular and timely delivery of value
Design and manage project plans to deliver the project successfully on time, underbudget and within scope.
Organize and lead project status and working meetings that encourage a sustainable pace and high quality of work
Manage Stakeholder communication by preparing and distributing key communications as needed.
Proactively manage project risks, issues and actively gets ahead of potential project “noise”
Promote high collaboration and empowerment of the team while ensuring each team member is accountable for their commitments
Provides leadership and informal project management training to empower workstream leads to drive their day-to-day workstream teams.
Create project timelines, stakeholder analysis, process flow diagrams and other functional project artifacts as needed.
Required Minimum Experience:
10+ years of experience managing complex, multi-function enterprise level projects
6+ years leading highly effect project teams remotely
Expert knowledge of both Agile and traditional project management principles with the ability to blend them together in the right proportions to fit the project needs
Strong business operation process improvement background as a senior business analyst or SSBB
A proven track record of successfully implementing IT and/or Supply Chain projects
A unique blend of IT and business (i.e. supply chain) experience
Solid understanding of software development life cycle
Prior experience supporting business operations and a PMO (preferred)
Prior experience successfully working with customer and 3rd party vendors (preferred)
Required minimum education:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, business or equivalent; MBA or Advance degree (preferred)
PMP certification
ITIL certifications
Solid understanding of and demonstrated experience in using project management tools such as: Smartsheet. Visio, Microsoft Project, and all Office tools
Training in understanding people, their motivation and negotiating win/win positive outcomes.

Successfully navigates and manages the micro and macro aspects of projects and programs
Has the ability to successfully delegate as well as jumping into the details to resolve major issues arise as needed
Highly adaptable and has the ability to sense the pulse of the project every step of the way to understand what it needs and to make continuous adjustments to the approach or the plan
Strong problem solving abilities to identify, define, and resolve specific problems
Comfortable working in ambiguous unstructured project environment where you are the SME
Natural self-motivated leader with the ability to “own” all aspects of the success of the project
