The Role
We are seeking a Graduate AI Engineer (m/f/d) to join our AI innovation team and help shape the next generation of banking products. In this role, you will contribute to the design, development, and deployment of AI-powered features that enhance our core banking software.
This is an exciting opportunity for an early-career developer to gain hands-on experience with Generative AI technologies in a real-world enterprise environment. You will work alongside experienced engineers, product teams, and banking experts to build innovative solutions, transform ideas into working prototypes, and support the delivery of production-ready AI capabilities for customers around the world.
What You'll Do
Contribute to the design, development, testing, and deployment of AI-powered features for our banking products.
Participate in the full AI innovation lifecycle, from exploring new ideas and building prototypes to helping deliver scalable, production-ready solutions.
Work with banking data and business processes to develop AI applications that generate insights, automate tasks, and enhance user experiences.
Collaborate closely with software engineers, product managers, solution experts, and customer-facing teams to deliver impactful AI solutions.
Learn and apply best practices for developing secure, scalable, and reliable AI applications.
Assist in integrating AI capabilities with our core banking platforms and enterprise technologies, including SAP-based environments where applicable.
Stay up to date with emerging AI technologies and contribute ideas that help drive innovation across our products.
Take ownership of development tasks while receiving mentorship and guidance from experienced team members.
Requirements
Degree in (Business) Informatics, (Business) Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics, Engineering and interest in the consulting business in the area of financial service providers
Understanding of different approaches to integrate LLMs into enterprise solutions
Strong programming skills (e.g. Python, Java, JavaScript, C++, R)
First cloud-native development experience (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud) with containerization/orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
Skilled at translating business requirements into scalable AI architectures
