Role Description The Software Engineer Intern role is a full-time, on-site position based in the Pune/Pimpri-Chinchwad area. The intern will assist in designing, coding, testing, and debugging software and web applications under the guidance of senior engineers. Daily activities include learning and applying programming concepts, contributing to back-end development tasks, participating in code reviews, and documenting technical work. The intern will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, implement features, and support ongoing project maintenance. This role offers hands-on experience in real-world projects, exposure to industry best practices, and opportunities to develop technical and professional skills.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Computer Science concepts, including data structures, algorithms, and software engineering basics.
Practical skills in Programming and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), with experience in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Java, C#, Python, or similar).
Knowledge of Software Development practices, including version control, testing, and debugging.
Understanding of Back-End Web Development, such as server-side frameworks, APIs, and database integration.
Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Ability to learn quickly, follow technical guidance, and work collaboratively in a team environment.
Good problem-solving, analytical thinking, and clear written and verbal communication skills.
Familiarity with web technologies, relational databases, or cloud platforms is an advantage.
