Role Description The Back End Developer is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru North. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining server-side application logic, APIs, and databases to support web and mobile solutions. The developer will collaborate with front-end and product teams to implement secure, scalable, and efficient features, troubleshoot issues, and optimize system performance. Responsibilities include writing clean, well-structured code, integrating third-party services, participating in code reviews, and contributing to architecture decisions. The role also requires maintaining documentation, following best practices, and supporting continuous improvement of development processes and tools.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Back-End Web Development skills, including building and maintaining APIs and server-side services.
Candidates should possess solid Software Development skills, with experience in designing, implementing, and testing production-ready applications.
Candidates should possess Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) skills, including designing reusable components and applying common design patterns.
Candidates should possess Programming skills in one or more languages commonly used for back-end systems (e.g., Java, Node.js, or similar).
Candidates should possess basic Front-End Development awareness to effectively collaborate with UI/UX and front-end teams.
Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases, version control (e.g., Git), and RESTful or GraphQL API development.
Understanding of security best practices, performance optimization, and scalable architecture in web applications.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams, communicate clearly, and take ownership of deliverables.
