Robotics & AI Trainer

About the Role
Unique World Robotics (UWR) is hiring a Robotics/ AI Trainer to join our Training Team. The role involves teaching students AI and Robotics concepts, mentoring students, and preparing teams for global competitions like WRO, FLL, FTC, FGC, FRC, Codeavour, NASA Space Apps and more.
Key Responsibilities
● Deliver engaging AI & Robotics sessions to students (K–12) in alignment with the prescribed curriculum.
● Effectively manage classroom environments across different age groups, ensuring discipline, participation, and inclusivity.
● Design and develop high-quality training content, including lesson plans, hands-on activities, projects, and interactive learning materials.
● Conduct both online and offline training sessions, adapting teaching methods to suit different learning formats.
● Organize and lead public workshops, demo sessions, and outreach programs to promote AI & Robotics learning.
● Continuously monitor student progress, assess performance, and provide feedback to identify strengths and areas for improvement.
● Support students in project-based learning, encouraging creativity, problem-solving, and innovation.
● Mentor students and prepare teams for national and international competitions such as World Robot Olympiad (WRO), FIRST LEGO League (FLL), FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC), FIRST Global Challenge (FGC), FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC), Codeavour, NASA Space Apps Challenge, and similar platforms.
● Stay updated with the latest trends in AI, Robotics, and educational methodologies to enhance training quality.
Key Requirements
● Basic to intermediate knowledge of programming concepts, with familiarity in platforms like Scratch, PictoBlox, or similar beginner-friendly tools.
● Working knowledge of microcontrollers such as Arduino, Raspberry Pi, and ESP32.
● Fundamental understanding of electronics, sensors, and simple circuit design.
● Exposure to app development and 3D design/printing tools is an added advantage.
● Ability to effectively train and engage students across different age groups (K–12) with clarity and patience.
● Strong classroom management and instructional skills.
● Good communication and mentoring abilities to guide students in learning and project development.
● Strong planning skills, with a structured working style and adaptability to fast-paced environments.
● Ability to work as a team player, with quick decision-making skills, especially during time-sensitive situations (e.g., competitions, workshops).
● Prior experience in robotics/AI competitions or mentoring teams is an advantage.
● Flexibility to work in dynamic environments and willingness to travel/relocate anywhere across India as required.
Required Qualifications
● Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (ECE, EEE, IT, Computer Science, Robotics & AI) or equivalent fields.
● Graduates in BCA / MCA or related disciplines are also eligible.
● Candidates with basic programming knowledge and a strong interest in AI & Robotics are encouraged to apply.
● Prior experience in robotics/AI training, teaching, or relevant technical roles is preferred.
Preferred Additional Expertise (Optional but Valuable)
● Experience in any major robotics or innovation competition.
● Knowledge of AI/ML-based robotics, OpenCV, IoT.
● Experience in rapid prototyping tools (3D printing)
● Ability to create video guides, documentation, or training content.
