Job Summary
We are looking for a Project Manager – MEP, BMS & ELV with 3–7 years of relevant experience to manage the complete execution of electrical, HVAC, MEP and ELV projects. The candidate will be responsible for project planning, engineering coordination, installation, testing & commissioning, vendor/contractor management, cost control, client coordination and project handover.
Key ResponsibilitiesElectrical System Installation & Commissioning
Manage installation, testing and commissioning of electrical systems as per approved Electrical SLDs.
Coordinate installation and commissioning of UPS & Battery Systems, Isolation Transformers, Electrical Panels, Transformers and RMUs.
Supervise LT/HT cable work, DG Sets, DBS, STP/WTP plant installations and electrical earthing systems.
Manage installation of lighting systems, internal wiring, PDU, IPDU, BBT, FGS, track busway systems, cable trays and raceways.
Coordinate server rack, networking and AV system installations.
Review and work with Electrical AutoCAD drawings for project execution and coordination.
Ensure proper testing, commissioning and documentation of electrical installations.
HVAC / Cooling Systems
Manage engineering, procurement coordination, installation, testing and commissioning of HVAC/cooling systems.
Coordinate installation and commissioning of PAHU, VRF, Cassette AC, Split AC, AHU, CSU, FCU and Chiller systems.
Provide technical assistance during procurement and supervise installation activities.
Coordinate HVAC execution with other MEP services and project requirements.
BMS / IBMS & ELV Systems
Manage installation, execution, testing and commissioning of BMS/IBMS systems.
Coordinate ELV systems including:
Access Control System (ACS)
CCTV
Fire Alarm & Public Address (FAPA)
VESDA
Water Leak Detection (WLD)
RRS systems
Ensure proper integration and commissioning of BMS/IBMS and ELV systems with other building services.
Coordinate system vendors, consultants and site teams for successful execution and commissioning.
MEP Coordination & Project Execution
Coordinate with all MEP vendors and DC vendors for project execution.
Plan and monitor project activities, timelines, milestones and deliverables.
Coordinate with consultants, contractors, vendors and internal teams to ensure smooth execution.
Monitor project quality, safety and compliance requirements.
Identify project risks and ensure timely mitigation.
Manage testing, commissioning, snag rectification and final project handover.
Budgeting & Vendor Management
Monitor project budgets, material requirements and project costs.
Support cost control and value engineering initiatives.
Coordinate with vendors and contractors for procurement, execution and timely delivery.
Monitor contractor performance and ensure adherence to project schedules and specifications.
Client & Stakeholder Management
Act as a key point of contact for clients and project stakeholders.
Provide regular project updates and coordinate technical discussions.
Resolve execution-related issues in coordination with clients, consultants and vendors.
Ensure projects are delivered within agreed scope, timelines, budget and quality standards.
Required Skills
3–7 years of relevant experience in MEP/project execution.
Strong experience in Electrical Systems, HVAC, BMS/IBMS and ELV.
Hands-on experience in installation, testing and commissioning.
Strong knowledge of Electrical SLDs and electrical systems.
Experience with UPS, Transformers, RMU, LT/HT cables, DG, panels, earthing and busway systems.
Knowledge of HVAC systems and equipment.
Experience in BMS/IBMS, CCTV, ACS, FAPA, VESDA, WLD and other ELV systems.
Working knowledge of Electrical AutoCAD.
Strong MEP vendor and contractor coordination skills.
Good project planning, execution and problem-solving abilities.
Strong client communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to manage multiple activities and vendors simultaneously.
Preferred Profile
The ideal candidate should be a hands-on MEP Project Manager/Engineer with strong exposure to Electrical, HVAC, BMS/IBMS and ELV systems, particularly in installation, execution, testing and commissioning, and should be capable of coordinating multiple vendors and project teams from execution through final handover.
