IGF Catalyst is the strategic advisory practice of India Global Forum, working with corporates, institutions and governments on their priorities across the UK-India corridor.
We provide clients with strategic insight, senior stakeholder access and practical support across areas including government and regulatory affairs, market entry, stakeholder engagement and bespoke research and analysis.
The practice draws on IGF’s deep relationships across government, business, investment and policy, with a focus on turning these networks and insights into meaningful outcomes for clients.
Role Overview
This role will support the delivery of strategic advisory projects and client mandates, from research and analysis through to execution. Based in our Delhi office, you will work closely with senior team members to understand client priorities, develop insights, support stakeholder engagement, and translate research and conversations into clear, practical outputs.
The role will span research, programme delivery, strategic communications and business development, with exposure to senior stakeholders across government, business, investment and policy. You will also contribute to proposals, thought leadership and client engagements, while developing a strong understanding of the issues, opportunities and dynamics shaping the UK–India corridor.
Job Description
Research & Strategic Analysis
Conduct research and analysis on geopolitical, policy, market and industry developments to generate actionable insights for client engagements and advisory projects.
Track relevant policy, regulatory and business developments across sectors and geographies.
Develop research notes, briefing documents and background materials for senior stakeholders and clients.
Client & Advisory Delivery
Support the delivery of strategic advisory projects and client mandates from research and planning through to execution.
Prepare high-quality presentations, reports, proposals, briefing materials and other client deliverables.
Work closely with senior team members to understand client requirements and translate research into clear, practical insights and recommendations.
Programme & Project Delivery
Support the planning and execution of client programmes, roundtables, meetings and strategic engagements.
Coordinate with internal teams, speakers, partners and external stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery.
Support communications, logistics, documentation and post-engagement follow-up.
Stakeholder Engagement
Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders across government, industry, academia, investors and the wider innovation ecosystem.
Support senior team members in stakeholder outreach, engagement and relationship management.
Develop an understanding of key decision-makers, institutions and networks relevant to client mandates.
Business Development
Support business development through client, sector and market research and identification of potential opportunities.
Contribute to proposals, pitches and partnership initiatives.
Skills & Experience
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Public Policy, Economics, International Relations, Political Science or a related field.
5+ years of relevant experience in consulting, public policy, government affairs, research, strategy or international affairs.
Strong research, analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Experience engaging with senior stakeholders across government, business and industry.
Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
Strong interest in India, its global growth story, business, policy and geopolitics.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail.
Comfortable using AI tools to support research, analysis, content development and productivity.
Proactive, curious and able to take ownership of work.
