We are looking for a Product Application Expert – Electrical Distribution (EDN) who is passionate about technology, digital solutions, and electrical power distribution. The role will work closely with customers and sales teams to understand application requirements, propose the right solutions, and drive the adoption of Electrical Distribution and digital offers.
Responsibilities
Act as a Technology Ambassador for Electrical Distribution solutions, including digital and connected offers.
Provide pre-sales, technical, and application support to customers and sales teams.
Understand customer requirements and technical specifications and recommend appropriate solutions.
Support sales teams in customer discussions, technical presentations, solution positioning, and conversions.
Drive adoption of digital technologies, connected products, power management solutions, tools, and platforms.
Engage with Panel Builders, OEMs, Contractors, Consultants, and other key stakeholders to position relevant technologies and solutions.
Conduct product demonstrations, technical presentations, promotional activities, seminars, and customer events.
Support the positioning and prescription of Electrical Distribution offers to drive profitable business growth.
Qualifications
B.E./B.Tech in Electrical or Electronics Engineering
4–8 years of relevant experience in Electrical Distribution, Power Management, Electrical Systems, or related applications.
Required Skills
Strong understanding of MV & LV Electrical Distribution Networks and system design philosophy.
Good technical knowledge of:
VCBs, ACBs & MCCBs
Switching & Controlling devices
Transfer Switches
Energy Meters
PFC Components & Active Harmonic Filters (AHFs)
LV Panels & applications
Knowledge of relevant electrical standards and applications.
Strong communication, presentation, influencing, customer engagement, and relationship-building skills.
Passion for digital technologies, innovation, and customer-focused solutions.
Preferred Skills
Exposure to Connected Products, Digital Applications, and Energy/Power Management Software will be preferred.
Exposure to Discrete/Process Automation will be an added advantage.
