Design Lead – Job Description

We’re looking for a Design Lead to shape the visual voice of our brand. Someone with a decade (or more) of experience crafting campaigns that don’t just look good, but work hard. Someone who knows how to lead a team of designers while rolling up their own sleeves to make magic happen.

What You’ll Do
Inspire and lead. Guide a team of designers and visualizers, helping them do the best work of their careers.
Own the craft. Lead concept development and visual storytelling across all channels—print, digital, social, video, outdoor.
Collaborate. Work side by side with writers, strategists, and marketing teams to create cohesive, impactful campaigns.
Champion quality. Ensure every piece of creative is brand-right, on-brief, and impossible to ignore.
Present with confidence. Sell your team’s ideas internally and to clients, making the case for bold, effective work.
Embrace new tools. Leverage AI-based design technologies and stay on top of trends to keep our creative fresh and future-ready.
Balance vision and reality. Manage timelines and priorities to deliver on schedule without sacrificing quality.
What You Bring
10+ years in creative agencies or in-house teams, with a portfolio that proves you know your craft.
Proven experience leading and mentoring designers.
Mastery of design software (Adobe CC, Figma, etc.) and a working knowledge of AI design tools (Midjourney, DALL·E, Firefly).
A sharp eye for typography, layout, color, and branding.
The ability to think conceptually, but deliver with pixel-perfect detail.
Excellent communication skills—you can sell an idea as well as you can design it.
The organizational chops to juggle multiple projects without dropping the ball.
