Role Description As a Junior Full Stack Engineer at Acumen, you will contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of web applications that support the company’s educational and career consulting services. You will work with both front-end and back-end technologies to implement new features, fix bugs, and improve application performance and user experience. Daily tasks include collaborating with senior engineers, writing clean and efficient code, testing and debugging, and assisting in deploying updates. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Thiruvananthapuram, requiring close collaboration with cross-functional teams and participation in regular reviews and planning sessions.
Qualifications
Front-End Development skills, including experience with Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) and building responsive user interfaces
Back-End Web Development skills with a solid understanding of server-side logic and integration with databases
Software Development and Full-Stack Development skills, including ability to work across the application stack
Basic knowledge of web standards, version control (e.g., Git), and RESTful APIs
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail, with a willingness to learn and adapt
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
Ability to work collaboratively in an on-site team environment and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
