Role Description The Windchill Developer will be responsible for designing, configuring, and customizing Windchill PLM solutions to support business processes and product data management. Day-to-day tasks include developing and maintaining Windchill workflows, implementing enhancements, resolving application issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions. The role also involves performance tuning, integration with other enterprise systems, and ensuring adherence to coding and security standards. This is a full-time, on-site role based in the Pune Division, requiring close coordination with stakeholders and internal technical teams.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Windchill development skills, including customization, configuration, workflow design, and PLM data management.
Candidates should possess core programming and technical skills, such as Java/J2EE, XML, web services, and basic scripting for automation and integration.
Candidates should possess skills in system analysis and solution design, including requirements gathering, technical documentation, and troubleshooting complex issues.
Candidates should possess familiarity with enterprise systems and tools, such as PLM/ERP integrations, databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server), and version control systems.
Candidates should possess strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with product, engineering, and business teams.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
Prior experience as a Windchill Developer or PLM Engineer in a B2B or technology-driven environment is highly beneficial.
