Summary:
We are looking for a hands-on Technical Lead to work on the Airline Gateway (AGW) platform. The role focuses on Python backend development, distributed systems, microservices and cloud-native application development on AWS.
Roles & Responsibilities
Design and develop scalable cloud-native applications on AWS.
Build and enhance backend services using Python.
Design and develop microservices and REST APIs.
Drive scalability, reliability, performance and observability.
Work with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform and CI/CD.
Make architecture decisions and guide the engineering team.
Conduct code reviews and mentor engineers.
Contribute to modernization and future adoption of Go.
Requirements
8+ years of software engineering experience.
Strong hands-on Python backend development experience.
Strong experience designing distributed systems / microservices.
Deep practical experience with AWS architecture.
Experience with REST APIs and cloud-native applications.
Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform and CI/CD.
Good understanding of scalability, concurrency, fault tolerance and system design.
Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases and observability tools.
Aviation/airline domain experience is a plus.
