Role Description The Business Development Executive role is a full-time, on-site position based in Ahmedabad. This role involves identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, generating qualified leads, and building a strong sales pipeline for Drona Cyber Solutions’ cybersecurity offerings. The Business Development Executive will conduct market research, engage with prospective clients through calls, meetings, and presentations, and support the creation of proposals and commercial offers. Day-to-day responsibilities include nurturing client relationships, coordinating with internal technical and delivery teams, managing key accounts, and tracking sales activities in CRM or reporting tools. The role also requires collaborating on marketing initiatives, attending industry events as needed, and providing feedback to enhance service positioning and go-to-market strategies.
Qualifications
Strong new business development and lead generation skills, with the ability to identify and convert opportunities in B2B or enterprise markets.
Solid understanding of business processes and commercial acumen, including basic sales forecasting and pipeline management.
Effective communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication, presentation abilities, and client-facing interaction.
Proven account management capabilities, including relationship building, retention, and upselling or cross-selling to existing clients.
Experience in IT or cybersecurity services sales is highly beneficial, with familiarity in SOC, threat intelligence, or security consulting viewed as a plus.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field; relevant certifications in sales or cybersecurity are an advantage.
Comfort working in an on-site, collaborative environment in Ahmedabad and willingness to travel locally or regionally for client meetings when required.
Self-driven work approach, goal orientation, and the ability to manage multiple prospects and accounts simultaneously.
