Develop IT Strategy: Design and implement IT strategies that align with the company’s overall goals, ensuring technology supports business growth and development.
Stay Current with Emerging Technologies: Ensure the IT department stays updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to enhance operational efficiency.
Oversee IT Systems Maintenance: Manage and maintain all IT systems, including hardware, software, and network infrastructure, to ensure they operate effectively and meet business needs.
Ensure IT Infrastructure Security: Safeguard the organization’s IT infrastructure by ensuring it is secure, scalable, and robust to meet both current and future demands.
Cybersecurity Implementation: Develop and enforce cybersecurity policies to protect the organization from data breaches, cyber threats, and other security risks.
Vendor Relationship Management: Manage relationships with external IT vendors and service providers, ensuring service level agreements (SLAs) are met and costs are controlled.
Encourage Technological Innovation: Foster a culture of innovation by encouraging the adoption of new technologies that enhance business operations and productivity.
Cross-Department Collaboration: Act as a liaison between IT and other departments, translating technical solutions into business terms and ensuring alignment with operational goals.
System Reliability and Uptime Management: Oversee preventative maintenance and disaster recovery planning to ensure system reliability and minimize downtime.
Cloud Services and Data Management: Manage cloud services, data storage, and backup systems, ensuring secure and reliable access to organizational data.
Adherence to Company Policies: Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, ensuring all IT practices align with the organization’s standards and guidelines.
Daily Operations and Activity Tracking: Create and maintain daily checklists and trackers for day-to-day IT activities, ensuring 100% availability and prompt issue resolution.
Team Collaboration and Updates: Collaborate with the IT team, providing regular updates to supervisors and team members while ensuring timely action on assigned tasks.
Training and Development: Implement training programs for the IT team, both verbal and written, to enhance their skills and knowledge. Conduct regular assessments to evaluate progress.
Security Features Implementation and Monitoring: Configure and implement new security features, such as firewalls and endpoint protection, across both local and public environments. Maintain and track incidents, and ensure proper disaster management and system monitoring.
