Role Description The Marine Officer role at International Marine is a full-time, on-site position based in Delhi, India. In this role, the Marine Officer oversees day-to-day marine operations, ensuring that vessel movements, port activities, and related logistics comply with maritime regulations and company procedures. Responsibilities include coordinating with port authorities and stakeholders, monitoring safety protocols, and conducting routine inspections of marine equipment and documentation. The Marine Officer prepares operational reports, maintains accurate records, and supports incident prevention through risk assessments and adherence to safety standards. This position also involves supporting training initiatives, contributing to operational planning, and assisting in audits or compliance checks as required.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess skills and experience related to Marine Corps or Navy service, or equivalent maritime organizational roles.
Candidates should possess strong Marine Operations skills, including vessel handling oversight, port coordination, and operational planning.
Candidates should possess Maritime knowledge, including international and local regulations, safety standards, and marine documentation.
Candidates should possess Inspection skills for vessels, equipment, and facilities to ensure compliance with safety and operational requirements.
Candidates should possess strong communication and teamwork skills to coordinate with internal teams, port authorities, and external partners.
Candidates should possess good analytical and problem-solving abilities for managing operational issues and ensuring safe practices.
Relevant maritime or nautical education, certifications, or licenses are highly beneficial; prior experience in a marine, shipping, or naval environment is preferred.
Ability to work on-site in Delhi, India, with flexibility for varying operational schedules and adherence to safety and ethical standards.
