Role Description The Chemical Engineering Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad. The specialist will design, optimize, and oversee chemical and process systems related to semiconductor and petrochemical projects, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards. Daily responsibilities include performing process calculations, preparing technical documentation, supporting piping and equipment layouts, and collaborating with project teams during planning, execution, and commissioning phases. The role involves working closely with cross-functional engineering teams, providing technical support for installations and maintenance, and contributing to continuous improvement of existing systems. The specialist will also communicate technical findings to internal and external stakeholders and support troubleshooting activities for chemical, slurry, and gas systems.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Chemical Engineering and Process Engineering skills for design, optimization, and troubleshooting of chemical systems.
Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to interpret data, perform calculations, and make evidence-based engineering decisions.
Candidates should possess effective Communication and Presentation Skills to convey technical information clearly to multidisciplinary teams and clients.
Relevant experience in semiconductor, petrochemical, or related process industries, particularly in piping systems, equipment installations, and commissioning, is beneficial.
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Chemical Engineering or a related engineering discipline is preferred.
Knowledge of safety standards, industry regulations, and best practices in handling chemicals, gases, and slurries is advantageous.
Ability to work on-site in Ahmedabad, manage multiple projects, and collaborate in a diverse, inclusive team environment.
