About the Opportunity:
The STAFF FULLSTACK ENGINEER role is centered on developing and owning core platform capabilities that support the subscription economy at scale. This position focuses on building foundational systems and APIs that enable both engineers and AI agents to interact effectively with the platform. The role is critical in enhancing platform reliability, scalability, and developer experience, directly impacting the velocity and success of engineering initiatives within the organization.
Responsibilities:
Develop next-generation APIs, SDKs, and servers facilitating human and AI agent interaction with the platform.
Architect and maintain mission-critical systems including core domain models, event-driven architectures, enterprise identity, and order processing.
Ensure platform scalability with high availability, low latency, and fault tolerance in a multi-tenant environment.
Own the full lifecycle of services, from design through deployment and operational monitoring.
Improve developer experience by creating intuitive tooling and reusable platform primitives.
Requirements:
Deep understanding of distributed systems and experience designing scalable APIs and backend services.
Product-oriented mindset with a focus on developer experience and customer impact.
Commitment to writing maintainable, high-quality, production-ready code with strong testing and security practices.
Experience with Python, Go, Kubernetes, event-driven systems, and cloud platforms such as GCP is preferred.
Ability to apply engineering principles emphasizing simplicity, security, and leveraging AI to increase efficiency.
Pay Range and Compensation Package:
Starting at $170,000 base salary, plus stock options and competitive benefits.
