Role Description The Account Executive is a full-time, on-site role based in Madurai, responsible for managing day-to-day accounting and client service activities. The role includes maintaining ledgers, processing invoices and payments, preparing financial statements, and supporting tax filings and statutory compliance. The Account Executive will coordinate with clients to gather documentation, clarify accounting issues, and provide timely updates on their accounts. The role also involves assisting senior accountants with audits, reconciliations, and reporting, while ensuring all records are accurate and up to date. The Account Executive is expected to follow internal procedures, meet deadlines, and contribute to a collaborative, professional work environment.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong foundational accounting skills, including bookkeeping, ledger management, and basic financial statement preparation.
Candidates should possess knowledge of taxation and regulatory compliance relevant to Indian businesses, including GST, TDS, and statutory filings.
Candidates should possess proficiency with accounting software and productivity tools (e.g., Tally or similar ERP systems, MS Excel, and other office applications).
Candidates should possess effective client service and communication skills, with the ability to explain financial information clearly and maintain professional relationships.
Candidates should possess strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and the ability to work accurately under time constraints.
A bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred; relevant professional certifications are an advantage.
Prior experience in an accounting firm or corporate finance department is beneficial, especially in roles involving compliance, audits, or client account management.
