Custom Software Engineer - Google Cloud Development

As an Application Support Engineer, you will act as a software detective, providing a dynamic service that identifies and solves issues within multiple components of critical business systems. Your typical day will involve collaborating with various teams to troubleshoot and resolve software-related challenges, ensuring the seamless operation of essential applications. You will engage in problem-solving activities, analyse system performance, and contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and systems, all while maintaining a focus on delivering high-quality support to users and stakeholders. Strong grasp of Generative and Agentic AI, prompt engineering, and AI evaluation frameworks. Ability to align AI capabilities with business objectives while ensuring scalability, responsible use, and tangible value realisation.
Responsibilities:
Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
Contribute to providing solutions to work-related problems.
Assist in the development and implementation of support processes to enhance service delivery.

Requirements:
Proficiency in Google Cloud Development Services.
Strong understanding of cloud architecture and services.
Experience with application monitoring and performance tuning.
Familiarity with incident management and troubleshooting methodologies.
Ability to work with cross-functional teams to resolve complex issues.
Additional Information:
The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Google Cloud Development Services.
A 15 years full time education is required.
