Job Overview:
We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented professional for Retail Mall Leasing and Commercial Leasing. The candidate will be responsible for driving leasing and business development activities for retail spaces in shopping malls, including brand acquisition, tenant coordination, negotiations, and store opening support. The ideal candidate should possess strong communication, presentation, and relationship management skills with prior exposure to mall leasing and retail brand handling.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and approach national, regional, and local retail brands for leasing opportunities.
Conduct site visits and present mall/project highlights to prospective brands and retailers.
Handle end-to-end leasing activities from prospecting to store opening.
Coordinate with brands for commercial negotiations, LOI, agreement documentation, and fit-out processes.
Maintain strong relationships with IPCs, leasing consultants, brokers, and retail brands.
Prepare presentations, leasing proposals, tenant mix reports, and management MIS reports.
Coordinate with Legal, Projects, CRM, Sales, and Operations teams for seamless execution.
Resolve tenant queries through calls, meetings, and emails professionally.
Monitor market trends, competitor malls, and retail expansion activities.
Support leasing strategy planning to maximize occupancy and revenue generation.
Desired Candidate Profile:
Qualifications:
Graduate / MBA / PGDM preferred
Experience:
5-10 years of experience in Retail Mall Leasing / Commercial Leasing
Experience in shopping malls, retail real estate, or mixed-use developments preferred
Required Skills:
Strong leasing and business development knowledge
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Good presentation and negotiation abilities
Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
Understanding of retail fit-out coordination and lease documentation
Strong networking with retail brands, IPCs, and leasing brokers
