Role Description The .NET Developer – Remote is a full-time role responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining web applications and services using the .NET technology stack. Day-to-day tasks include writing clean, testable code, implementing new features, fixing bugs, and optimizing application performance. The developer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, participate in code reviews, and ensure alignment with architectural and security standards. Additional responsibilities include integrating third-party services, maintaining documentation, and contributing to continuous improvement of development practices and workflows. This role is performed remotely, requiring effective communication, proactive collaboration, and strong ownership of deliverables.
Qualifications
Strong Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and general Programming skills.
Practical experience in Software Development using .NET Core.
Hands-on experience with ASP.NET MVC for building scalable web applications.
Knowledge of RESTful APIs, web services, and integration with external systems.
Familiarity with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server) and ORM tools.
Experience with version control tools (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.
Ability to write unit tests and follow best practices for secure, maintainable code.
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently in a remote setting.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Experience working in agile or iterative development environments is beneficial.
