Role Description
As a Blockchain Crypto Fund & Portfolio Specialist, you will research the intersection of blockchain technology, cryptocurrency, digital assets, venture opportunities, and portfolio strategy. You will analyze emerging blockchain projects, crypto market developments, digital-asset ecosystems, and investment themes while supporting technology and strategy initiatives related to the rapidly evolving Web3 economy.
Responsibilities
• Research blockchain companies, cryptocurrency projects, digital assets, and Web3 ecosystems
• Analyze crypto funds, blockchain ventures, digital-asset markets, and emerging investment opportunities
• Develop research frameworks for evaluating digital-asset portfolios, allocation strategies, diversification, and risk
• Monitor developments across DeFi, Layer 1 and Layer 2 networks, stablecoins, tokenization, blockchain infrastructure, and Web3 applications
• Evaluate blockchain projects based on technology, business models, market opportunity, competitive positioning, tokenomics, and ecosystem development
• Conduct research on crypto market trends, venture funding, digital-asset adoption, and emerging blockchain technologies
• Analyze portfolio exposures, market volatility, liquidity conditions, and digital-asset risk factors
• Prepare investment research, portfolio analysis, market intelligence, and strategic technology reports
• Identify opportunities where blockchain, AI, automation, and digital financial technologies intersect
• Track emerging Web3 technologies and assess their potential business and market applications
• Research blockchain infrastructure, smart-contract ecosystems, decentralized applications, and digital-asset platforms
• Collaborate with technology, strategy, research, and consulting teams on digital-asset initiatives
• Translate complex blockchain and crypto developments into clear strategic insights for business stakeholders
• Maintain structured research on crypto funds, blockchain ventures, digital assets, and Web3 market developments
Qualifications
• 2+ years of experience in blockchain, cryptocurrency, investment research, portfolio analysis, financial technology, consulting, or technology strategy
• Strong understanding of blockchain technology, cryptocurrency markets, and digital assets
• Knowledge of crypto funds, portfolio strategy, venture investing, asset allocation, or investment research
• Familiarity with DeFi, tokenomics, stablecoins, Layer 1 and Layer 2 ecosystems, and blockchain infrastructure
• Strong analytical, quantitative, and research skills
• Ability to evaluate technology companies, blockchain projects, business models, and emerging market opportunities
• Understanding of portfolio diversification, liquidity, volatility, and digital-asset risk
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with technology and consulting teams
• Strong interest in the intersection of AI, blockchain, fintech, and emerging digital technologies
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Business, Engineering, or a related field is preferred
• Experience with blockchain analytics, financial modeling, venture research, or digital-asset data platforms is a plus

Compensation
$125,000–$145,000 per year, depending on experience, technical expertise, investment knowledge, and relevant qualifications.
