Role Description
We are seeking a Blockchain Fund Strategy Specialist to support digital-asset investment research, blockchain market intelligence, portfolio strategy, and investment analysis. This role will focus on evaluating blockchain projects, crypto assets, Web3 ecosystems, and emerging investment opportunities while developing data-driven frameworks for fund strategy and portfolio construction.
The specialist will combine blockchain expertise, financial research, and technology analysis to identify opportunities across digital assets, decentralized finance, token ecosystems, and blockchain infrastructure.
Responsibilities
• Research blockchain companies, digital assets, crypto funds, and Web3 investment opportunities
• Develop blockchain fund strategy frameworks and portfolio allocation models
• Analyze digital-asset markets including Bitcoin, Ethereum, DeFi, Layer 1/Layer 2 networks, stablecoins, and tokenized assets
• Evaluate blockchain projects based on technology, adoption, tokenomics, market positioning, and ecosystem growth
• Conduct investment due diligence on protocols, startups, tokens, and Web3 platforms
• Analyze portfolio construction, diversification, liquidity, volatility, correlations, and risk exposure
• Monitor crypto market trends, institutional adoption, venture funding, and blockchain innovation
• Build investment research models, market dashboards, portfolio analytics, and intelligence reports
• Track developments across AI + blockchain convergence, decentralized applications, and emerging digital-finance technologies
• Evaluate opportunities combining artificial intelligence, automation, and blockchain infrastructure
• Prepare investment memos, strategy reports, market research, and executive presentations
• Support strategic decisions related to blockchain investment themes and digital-asset opportunities
• Collaborate with AI engineers, technology consultants, research teams, and investment professionals
Qualifications
• 3+ years of experience in blockchain, cryptocurrency, investment research, portfolio analysis, fintech, venture capital, or financial markets
• Strong understanding of blockchain technology and digital-asset ecosystems
• Knowledge of fund strategy, portfolio construction, asset allocation, and investment analysis
• Familiarity with DeFi, tokenomics, smart contracts, L1/L2 networks, stablecoins, and blockchain infrastructure
• Strong analytical and quantitative research skills
• Ability to evaluate blockchain projects from both technology and investment perspectives
• Experience with financial modeling, Excel, market-data platforms, or blockchain analytics tools
• Understanding of AI, machine learning, and emerging technology investment trends is a plus
• Excellent communication and research-writing abilities
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field preferred
• CFA, CAIA, blockchain, Web3, or AI certifications are a plus

Compensation
$125,000–$150,000 per year, depending on experience, blockchain expertise, investment research capabilities, and technology background.
