Site Civil Engineer

Role Description The Site Civil Engineer will oversee and coordinate civil engineering activities for wood and structural installations at project sites in Indore. This full-time, on-site role involves supervising construction work, ensuring designs are implemented accurately, and verifying that materials and methods meet safety and quality standards. The role includes reviewing drawings and plans, managing site execution schedules, and collaborating with project managers, contractors, and vendors to resolve technical issues. The Site Civil Engineer will also monitor project progress, prepare reports, support cost and resource planning, and ensure compliance with relevant codes and regulations.
Qualifications
Civil engineering expertise, including Civil Engineering and Civil Engineering Design, with the ability to apply these skills to site-based wood and structural projects.
Experience working as Civil Engineers on construction sites, with strong Planning capabilities for timelines, resources, and coordination.
Knowledge of Stormwater Management and related infrastructure to support safe and compliant site development.
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
Experience in building construction, finishing works, or wood-based architectural projects is an advantage.
Strong understanding of building codes, safety standards, and quality control procedures.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, BOQs, and specifications.
Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with diverse on-site teams.
Proficiency in basic engineering software and MS Office for reporting and documentation.
Willingness to work full-time on-site in Indore and regularly visit active project locations.
