Talent Development Executive

We are seeking a Talent Development Executive to join our team at Constance Halaveli, Maldives. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing comprehensive talent development programmes that foster employee growth, engagement, and career progression across our organisation. Working within a dynamic, multi-cultural resort environment, you will play a key role in building a high-performing workforce and creating a culture of continuous learning and development. • Design and deliver tailored training and development programmes that address organisational needs and individual career aspirations • Develop and implement performance management systems and conduct regular appraisals to support employee development and progression
Create succession planning strategies to identify and nurture high-potential talent within the organisation.
Manage Learning Management Systems (LMS) and e-learning platforms to facilitate accessible training delivery.
Provide coaching and mentoring support to employees and managers to enhance their professional capabilities.
Conduct talent assessments and skills gap analyses to inform training priorities and organisational development initiatives.
Collaborate with department heads and senior management to align talent development strategies with business objectives.
Monitor and analyse training effectiveness through data collection, reporting, and continuous improvement recommendations.
Organise induction programmes for new employees to ensure smooth integration into the organisation.
Foster employee engagement initiatives that promote retention and create a positive workplace culture.
Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging trends in talent development and organisational learning.
Maintain detailed records and documentation of all training activities, participant progress, and development outcomes.
Proven experience in designing and delivering training and development programmes.
Strong knowledge of performance management systems and appraisal methodologies.
Demonstrated expertise in talent assessment, succession planning, and career development.
Proficiency with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and digital training platforms.
Excellent coaching and mentoring capabilities, with the ability to support diverse learning styles.
Strong people skills, including active listening, empathy, and the ability to build rapport across all organisational levels.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Solid project management experience with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
Competency in data analysis and the ability to produce meaningful reports and insights.
Strong organisational and time-management abilities with meticulous attention to detail.
Familiarity with HR best practices and employment legislation.
Experience working within the hospitality, resort, or tourism industry.
Experience managing talent development in multicultural or international environments.
Certification in training and development, such as CIPD or equivalent.
Knowledge of organisational development methodologies and change management.
Experience with e-learning platform development and digital learning solutions.
Background in adult learning principles and instructional design.
