Job Title: AWS Cloud Engineer
Location: Arlington, VA (mostly remote)
Position Overview
Day To Day
Build/Deploy - Supporting Developers with Tools and manual aspects of build and deploy
AWS API Gateway Provisioning- New Cognito Clients , New API's, Special Header Handling., Troubleshooting
Automation - Python and Jenkins
Monitoring - Datadog/Opensearch/CloudwatchDevelopement
CI/CD Pipiline developement
Provisioning- Ansible and packer developement
ITSM Servicing - Provisioning AWS Services, User Access,deployments,Certficate Installs, etc
Production Support -Participation in IR, DR, deployemnts, log gatherings, metric gathering, on-call, escallation,etc
Security- Validating roles and permissionsfor services and people
Top 10 Skills
Python/Lamda automation - Hoping for deep understanding of Python 3, Layers and AWSLamda nuances
Linux/java/EC2/Tomcat troubleshooting- Our Core stack
Jenkins/GIT/Ansible/Packer/Terraform/Cloudfarmation/Codedeploy- Our CI/CDPipilines
