About the Job
We are looking for a hands-on HR Business Partner to join our growing IT organization at RCK Techiees.
This role goes beyond traditional business partnering you will own the full employee lifecycle, work closely with engineering and business leaders, and help shape our HR practices as we scale. Ideal for someone who enjoys wearing multiple hats and wants real ownership.
Key Responsibilities
• Partner with engineering and business leaders to align people practices with team and company goals
• Own the end-to-end employee lifecycle – Hire to Retire
• Drive the performance management cycle: goal setting, check-ins, appraisals, and PIPs
• Act as the first point of contact for employee relations issues, grievances, and conflict resolution
• Support hiring managers with recruitment coordination and a smooth candidate-to-employee experience
• Design and run engagement initiatives suited for a small, fast-moving team culture
• Support compensation reviews, salary benchmarking, and benefits administration
• Ensure HR policies and statutory compliance are up to date (POSH, labour law, and other applicable regulations)
• Track HR metrics (attrition, engagement, hiring velocity) and share insights with leadership
• Identify training needs and support learning & development initiatives
• All day work has to be done in Office only
Required Qualifications
• 6-8 years of experience as an HRBP or HR Generalist (preferably in IT/tech or startup environment)
• Solid grounding in performance management, employee relations, and talent management
• Working knowledge of Indian labour law and statutory compliance requirements
• Comfortable operating independently in a small team without heavy process or hand-holding
• Hands-on experience with an HRMS/HR tool (e.g., GreytHR or similar)
• Strong communication skills and sound judgment in handling sensitive, confidential matters
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field
Preferred Qualifications
• Prior experience in a company of similar size where HR is a small or one-person team
• Exposure to full-stack HR generalist work recruitment, L&D, and compliance
