Role Description The Network Engineer Intern will support the on-site IT team in Mayur Vihar with day-to-day network operations and maintenance.
Responsibilities include assisting with network setup, configuration, and monitoring for local and client environments, as well as helping diagnose and resolve connectivity and performance issues.
The intern will work under supervision to implement basic network security measures, document network changes, and maintain network inventory.
The role may also involve coordinating with senior engineers during installations and AMC visits, updating service logs, and supporting other IT infrastructure tasks as needed.
This is an internship role, offering hands-on experience in a fast-paced service environment and exposure to real-world client interactions.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess foundational skills in Network Administration and Network Engineering, including basic knowledge of routers, switches, and common network protocols.
Candidates should possess skills in Troubleshooting and Network Design, with the ability to assist in diagnosing issues and contributing to simple network layouts under guidance.
Candidates should possess an understanding of Network Security principles, such as secure configurations, access controls, and awareness of common threats.
Basic knowledge of operating systems (Windows/Linux), hardware components, and general IT support practices.
Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to follow procedures and technical instructions accurately.
Effective communication skills and a collaborative mindset to work with clients and internal teams on-site in Mayur Vihar.
Currently pursuing or recently completed a diploma or degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical knowledge).
Willingness to learn, adapt to new tools and technologies, and build a career in networking and IT services.
