Compliance & Governance Manager – Healthcare
Remote (UK) | 3–6 Month Contract to Permanent | c£500 per day, then up to £75,000
We're partnering with a leading healthcare and enterprise software group to appoint an experienced Compliance & Governance Manager. The role starts on an initial 3–6 month contract before becoming permanent.
As Compliance & Governance Manager you'll be a key part of the UK Compliance function, providing governance, compliance, assurance and regulatory support across a portfolio of UK business units, including healthcare technology and SaaS businesses.
Experience required:
Proven experience in a compliance, governance, risk, information security, privacy, quality or regulatory role
Experience supporting ISO management systems, particularly ISO 27001 and/or ISO 9001
Experience with one or more of ISO 42001, NHS DSPT, DCB0129, DCB0160, UKCA or MHRA compliance
Experience writing and maintaining policies, procedures and governance documentation
Excellent communication skills and the confidence to engage stakeholders at all levels up to EVP with ability to steer people to get the right outcomes
Familiarity with software

Eligible for security clearance
Desirable
Hands-on experience conducting internal audits
Knowledge of AI governance and emerging regulatory frameworks
Experience in M&A or multi-business group environments
Professional certifications in compliance, audit, information security, privacy, risk or quality management
Role:
Developing and maintaining governance frameworks, policies and procedures across multiple business units
Monitoring compliance with legislation, regulation, contractual commitments and internal policy
Supporting UK GDPR compliance, information security controls, risk assessments and incident management
Supporting certified management systems and coordinating external certification and surveillance audits
Designing and delivering a risk-based internal audit programme, reporting findings and tracking corrective actions to completion
Contributing to supplier assurance and third-party risk management
Advising leadership on compliance during acquisitions, integrations, new product launches and strategic initiatives
Liaising with customers, auditors, regulators and certification bodies, and delivering awareness sessions across the business
