Role Description The Interior Designer will be responsible for developing design concepts, space plans, and detailed layouts for residential and commercial projects. Day-to-day tasks include meeting with clients to understand their requirements, preparing mood boards and material palettes, coordinating FF&E selections, and producing construction drawings in collaboration with architects and contractors. The role involves site visits, supervision of installation and fit-outs, and ensuring that designs align with budget, timelines, and sustainability standards. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Jodhpur, requiring close coordination with the design team and vendors throughout each project lifecycle.
Qualifications
Strong Interior Design and Space Planning skills, with the ability to translate client needs into practical, innovative layouts.
Knowledge of Architecture and Construction Drawings, including the ability to collaborate effectively with architects and contractors.
Experience with FF&E selection and specification, including finishes, furnishings, lighting, and accessories.
Proficiency in design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar), and basic familiarity with 3D visualization tools.
Excellent communication and client-facing skills, with the ability to present concepts clearly and incorporate feedback constructively.
Strong project coordination and time management abilities, with attention to detail and quality execution on site.
Diploma or degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field; prior experience in residential or commercial interiors is preferred.
Interest in sustainable and green design practices, and willingness to stay updated on materials and industry trends.
