Platform Engineer

Seeking a Senior Platform Engineer with Experience implementing use cases using cloud native technologies in MS Azure (ideally also GCP) Candidates will ideally also have a strong understanding of the conceptual architecture behind Databricks/modern Lakehouse environments o Platform Service Delivery Implement and configure platform capabilities for new business use cases. Ensure platform services are delivered according to established architectural standards. Collaborate with product teams to understand technical requirements and platform dependencies. Provide technical guidance on platform service consumption and best practices. o Platform Engineering & Automation Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions. Automate platform provisioning, configuration, and operational processes. Implement self-service capabilities for platform consumers. Continuously improve deployment, monitoring, and operational procedures. Contribute to the evolution of platform engineering practices. o Platform Operations Manage and operate cloud-native data platform services. Ensure platform availability, reliability, and performance. Troubleshoot platform incidents and support root-cause analysis. Participate in operational support, service improvement, and incident management activities. Monitor platform utilization and recommend optimization opportunities. o Platform Modernization Contribute to modernization initiatives across data and cloud platforms. Support migration of legacy workloads to cloud-native services. Assist in evaluating and adopting new platform technologies. Implement improvements that reduce operational overhead and technical debt. o Security & Compliance Apply enterprise security standards and controls. Support implementation of identity and access management configurations. Ensure platform deployments align with regulatory and compliance requirements. Implement secure-by-default configurations and automation.
