Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Purchase role based in Moradabad. The role involves managing day-to-day purchasing activities, including identifying suppliers, requesting quotations, and negotiating prices, terms, and delivery schedules. The Purchase professional will prepare and process purchase orders, maintain accurate records of purchases, and ensure materials are procured in line with quality standards and production timelines. Responsibilities include monitoring inventory levels, coordinating with production and stores teams, and resolving discrepancies with suppliers related to quantity, quality, or billing. The role also involves analyzing purchasing data, supporting cost reduction initiatives, and contributing to vendor evaluation and performance improvement.
Qualifications
Strong knowledge of Purchasing Processes and Purchasing, including sourcing, vendor selection, and procurement workflows.
Experience in Purchase Management and handling Purchase Orders, from creation through approval and follow-up.
Solid Analytical Skills for evaluating quotations, comparing costs, and supporting data-driven purchasing decisions.
Prior experience in manufacturing or metal industry procurement is preferred.
Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders.
Proficiency with MS Office and basic ERP or inventory management systems.
Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Commerce, Business, or a related field is beneficial.
Attention to detail, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to work on-site in Moradabad.
