International Logistics Manager

TorqueShip helps eCommerce brands and 3PLs simplify international logistics through reliable, cost-effective freight solutions across air, ocean, customs, trucking, and fulfillment.
We’re looking for a Logistics Operations Manager to take ownership of our day-to-day operations and help build a scalable operations team.
What You’ll Do
- Manage and oversee China–USA air & ocean shipments end-to-end.
- Coordinate customs clearance, trucking, warehouses, 3PLs, and freight partners.
- Manage shipment bookings, documentation, tracking, delivery, and issue resolution.
- Lead and manage the operations team, including training, workload allocation, and performance.
- Work directly with clients and logistics partners to ensure smooth execution.
- Handle rate requests, lane planning, cost analysis, and operational reporting.
- Build SOPs and improve workflows as shipment volume grows.
- Use and improve TMS, logistics software, CRM, spreadsheets, and automation tools.
What We’re Looking For
- 3+ years of experience in international freight, freight forwarding, 3PL, or logistics operations.
- Strong hands-on knowledge of China–USA air/ocean freight, US customs, and trucking.
- Previous team management experience.
- Strong understanding of logistics software and operational systems.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Comfortable working independently in a fast-growing environment.
