We are seeking an experienced Infor XA Finance Consultant with strong techno-functional expertise to support a critical finance transformation and integration project. The consultant will be responsible for optimizing Accounts Receivable (AR) processes, automating cash application and General Ledger (GL) reconciliation, and developing robust integrations between Infor XA (MAPICS), HighRadius, and downstream legacy applications.
The ideal candidate will combine strong knowledge of finance and accounting processes with hands-on technical experience in Infor XA APIs, System Link, and LSB (Language System Builder).
Key Responsibilities
Finance & Functional Responsibilities
Analyze and optimize Accounts Receivable (AR) processes, including cash application, payment matching, lockbox processing, and ledger reconciliation.
Translate finance business requirements into scalable Infor XA functional and technical solutions.
Design solutions to automate daily cash application, reconciliation, and financial posting activities.
Work closely with Finance, AR, Treasury, and IT stakeholders to identify process gaps and implement automation opportunities.
Support troubleshooting and resolution of finance-related integration and posting issues.
Infor XA Development & Integration
Design, develop, test, and deploy Infor XA programs using APIs and LSB to automate General Ledger updates.
Develop solutions to process inbound interface files and automatically generate or update appropriate GL transactions and entries.
Build and maintain integrations using Infor System Link and other available Infor XA integration capabilities.
Develop data transformations and validation logic to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial information.
Maintain and enhance outbound interfaces between Infor XA and downstream legacy applications.
Monitor interface processing and troubleshoot data, integration, and transaction failures.
Cash Application & HighRadius
Design and develop a custom cash application utility to improve payment processing efficiency and reduce manual finance operations.
Integrate HighRadius inbound data with Infor XA to support automated cash application and ledger posting workflows.
Map HighRadius payment, remittance, and related financial data to the appropriate Infor XA AR and GL transactions.
Develop validation and exception-handling mechanisms for unmatched or incomplete payment data.
Collaborate with finance users to improve cash matching and reconciliation processes.
Testing & Production Support
Develop technical specifications, interface mappings, process flows, and supporting documentation.
Perform unit, integration, system, and user acceptance testing for finance interfaces and automation solutions.
Support production deployments and post-implementation stabilization.
Analyze production issues and provide root-cause analysis and corrective solutions.
Ensure interfaces and automated processes meet business, financial, audit, and data-quality requirements.
