Role Purpose
The Senior Manager – SIEM & Cyber Monitoring Engineering is responsible for creating and executing the strategic vision for enterprise cyber monitoring, detection engineering, SIEM optimization, threat visibility, and security analytics.
The role will establish a world-class monitoring capability by improving logging maturity, detection effectiveness, use-case coverage, threat visibility, engineering excellence, and operational resilience.
The incumbent serves as the organization's primary SIEM Subject Matter Expert (SME) and trusted advisor to Security Operations leadership.
Key Responsibilities
SIEM Strategy & Architecture
Define enterprise SIEM strategy and roadmap.
Design scalable monitoring architecture.
Improve visibility across cloud, on-premises and hybrid environments.
Lead SIEM modernization initiatives.
Detection Engineering
Develop and optimize detection use cases.
Improve signal-to-noise ratios.
Reduce false positives.
Enhance detection quality and effectiveness.
Monitoring Excellence
Define monitoring standards.
Establish monitoring coverage requirements.

Experience Requirements
Mandatory
12–15+ years in Security Operations, SIEM Engineering, Detection Engineering, or Cyber Monitoring.
