ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
The Insurance Sales Team Member is responsible for:
- Generating new business through warm and cold leads, referrals, and local outreach
- Consulting with clients to understand their needs and recommending customized insurance plans
- Selling and cross-selling a range of products including Auto, Home, Life, and Commercial Insurance
- Maintaining a pipeline of prospects and consistently following up
- Meeting individual and team sales targets and contributing to agency success
- Providing excellent customer service to foster lasting client relationships
- Documenting all activity in the agency CRM system and keeping records current
- Staying informed on new products, underwriting guidelines, and industry changes
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
We’re looking for someone who is goal-oriented, persuasive, and a natural relationship builder. Successful candidates will typically have:
- Previous experience in sales, customer service, or insurance (preferred)
- Excellent communication and closing skills
- Confidence in conducting outbound calls and virtual/in-person consultations
- A growth mindset and the ability to take coaching and feedback
- Effective organizational and time management habits
- Active Property & Casualty or Life & Health License (preferred) or willingness to obtain
- Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply
