Digital & Motion Designer

Lima Bean Creative, a division of Lima Bean, is looking for a talented Digital Motion Designer (mid-level) to join the growing team. The primary purpose of the job will be to create & design digital campaigns and assets for our clients’ digital needs.
More specifically, you’ll get to:
Design on-brand creative assets for a variety of digital channels: websites, social media advertising graphics, display campaigns, email templates and brand campaigns.
Do storyboards & motion/video graphics for campaigns.
Collaborate with a remote team of designers to deliver on creative that are conceptually strong, brand-appropriate and aligns with brand standards.
Take briefs from concept to roll-out. Working with the operations team, project managers, co-designers and developers to execute.

YOUR ROLE & KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Design on-brand creative assets for any medium, including websites, emails, social media, and video assets (such as reels and TV ads)
Design print media and custom illustrations
Demonstrate energy, active engagement, and strong knowledge of social media trends
Show inspiration and creative problem-solving while strictly adhering to brand guidelines
Thrive at an agency pace, delivering high-quality work with fast turnaround times
Utilize Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, and the broader Adobe Creative Suite to produce creative assets
Leverage AI tools to enhance workflow and speed, while maintaining hands-on design integrity rather than relying on AI for full final designs

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Essential:
Matric
Relevant Graphic Design diploma or tertiary qualification
Strong competence in Sketch & Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects & Premiere Pro)
A strong design portfolio
Proof of motion design, illustration and a wide range of creative design experience
Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
Experience in an agency environment is a plus.
Strong business English communication skills.
Copywriting skills is a plus.
