Location: Orange County, CA. Travel Required.

As a Construction Project Manager, you will oversee the execution of retail environments from planning through completion, ensuring our clients' brands come to life on time, on budget, and to spec.
The Opportunity
Lotus United is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead the planning, coordination, and on-the-ground execution of retail stores, fixtures, displays, and branded environments for our world-class clients. Our projects range from point-of-purchase displays and fixture systems to complete retail store environments for leading consumer brands.
Our goal is simple: deliver best-in-class retail environments that elevate our clients' brands while meeting budget, schedule, quality, and operational requirements. This is a hands-on, execution-focused position. Candidates must demonstrate a strong track record of managing multiple construction or installation projects simultaneously, coordinating trades and vendors, and solving problems in real time on active job sites. Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Scheduling
Develop and maintain detailed project schedules for retail construction, fixture installation, and full-store rollouts from kickoff through closeout.
Establish project budgets and monitor costs throughout the project lifecycle, flagging risks and variances early.
Coordinate with design, engineering, and account teams to translate design intent into buildable, on-schedule project plans.
Site & Vendor Coordination
Manage general contractors, subcontractors, fabricators, and installation crews to ensure work meets quality, safety, and brand standards.
Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor progress, resolve field issues, and verify installations match approved drawings.
Source, vet, and negotiate with vendors and trade partners to ensure competitive pricing and reliable performance.
Documentation & Reporting
Maintain accurate project documentation, including budgets, schedules, change orders, punch lists, and closeout packages.
Provide regular status updates to internal stakeholders and clients, proactively communicating risks and resolutions.
Ensure permits, inspections, and compliance requirements are secured and tracked for every project.
Collaboration
Work closely with designers, engineers, account team members, and senior leadership to keep projects aligned with client expectations.
Support coordination with external vendors and fabrication partners as needed.
Contribute to internal process improvements and share field learnings to strengthen project delivery.
Travel & Site Work
Frequent travel for site visits, installations, and client meetings should be expected.
Experience & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field.
5+ years of relevant experience in construction project management, retail construction, or store rollout management.
Proven track record managing multiple concurrent projects with competing deadlines and budgets.
Working knowledge of construction documents, architectural drawings, and fixture/millwork specifications.
Experience with project management and scheduling software (e.g., Procore, MS Project, Smartsheet, Basecamp, or similar).
Strong understanding of permitting processes, building codes, and general contractor relationships.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to manage vendors, trades, and internal teams effectively.
Ability to travel regularly to job sites across multiple markets.
Experience managing projects from concept through final installation and closeout.
