Insurance Sales Advisor - Farmers Insurance

As an Insurance Sales Advisor, you'll help prospective and existing customers understand their insurance needs and find coverage solutions that fit their individual situations. Previous sales, customer service, or insurance experience is required, along with a demonstrated ability to work toward and achieve performance goals.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
As an Insurance Sales Advisor, you'll be responsible for:
- Generate new business by identifying prospects, conducting outreach, and following up with leads and referrals
- Consult with customers to understand their insurance needs and recommend appropriate coverage
- Sell and cross-sell insurance products including Auto, Home, Life, and Commercial policies
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships through consistent communication, service, and policy reviews
- Work toward and achieve individual sales goals while contributing to overall agency growth
- Follow up with quotes, prospects, and existing customers to identify additional opportunities
- Stay current on insurance products, services, and applicable regulatory requirements
- Use CRM tools to manage leads, customer information, follow-ups, and policy activity
- Participate in team meetings, sales training, and strategy sessions
WHAT YOU BRING
We're looking for someone who is professional, proactive, coachable, and motivated by results.
The ideal candidate will have:
- 1+ year of experience in sales, customer service, or insurance
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Confidence making outbound calls and having sales conversations
- A goal-oriented mindset and willingness to work toward measurable results
- Strong organization and time-management skills
- A willingness to learn and apply coaching
- Property & Casualty and/or Life & Health license preferred, or willingness to obtain
- Bilingual abilities are a plus
