Role Description The Senior QA/QC Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Hyderabad, responsible for leading quality assurance and quality control activities across precision manufacturing operations. This role includes developing, implementing, and maintaining quality standards, procedures, and inspection plans in line with customer and regulatory requirements. The Senior QA/QC Engineer will perform and oversee inspections of components and processes, analyze nonconformities, and drive corrective and preventive actions. Daily tasks involve conducting internal quality audits, monitoring key quality metrics, collaborating with production, design, and supply chain teams, and supporting root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives. The role also includes mentoring junior quality staff, preparing quality documentation and reports, and supporting customer audits and certifications.
Qualifications
Strong Quality Control and Inspection skills, including dimensional checks, visual inspection, and documentation of findings.
Proficiency in Quality Assurance and Quality Management practices, including development of procedures, standards, and process controls.
Experience in Quality Auditing, including planning, executing, and reporting internal and external audits.
Ability to lead cross-functional quality initiatives, drive root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
Relevant experience in precision manufacturing, preferably in Aerospace, Defence, Energy, or similar high-accuracy industries.
Strong understanding of international quality standards (such as ISO 9001, AS9100, or equivalent) and regulatory requirements.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills, with attention to detail and a focus on continuous improvement.
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline; advanced certifications in quality (e.g., Six Sigma, CQE) are an advantage.
Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and guide junior team members.
